I'm a 50+ guy who lives in Normandy, Stephen King fan, veteran metalhead (member of IMFC - UP the Irons!) and father of 4.
I build WWII kits for my own pleasure. I don't care about "accuracy" and I never count rivets: I just want them to look correct on a given front and at some point in the war.
I choose a specific vehicle mostly because I love the way it looks or because of its specific use in a specific theater (Normandy, Kursk, Battle of the Bulge, etc.).
I don't use an airbrush and I hate those photoetched small parts which always manage to fall between the planks of the floor!
Yes, you can call me "dinosaur", I'm ok with that..! 😉
Recently, as I was on parental leave, I returned to 28mm minis (WH40K and ASOIAF), as I used to paint in the 90's and I love it!
