Very nice job, Lionel! May I ask which paints you used for the FAA scheme? Thanks. Nice masking on the clear parts, especially the turret, that's a tough one.

Of course you can ask... I wil even answer! 😉
So I used (in the Humbrol range)
for the slate grey, H102, and H117 for the post shading
for the Extra dark sea grey, H125,
and finally H90 for the sky.
For masking the clear parts, I used thes Montex masks: I don't think I could manage to mask the turret otherwise.

On april the 1st, 1944, this plane, aboard HMS Tracker, damaged an U-boot in the Barents Sea. Supposed to be U-355, the submarine was sunk a few hours later by a British destroyer HMS Beagle.
