1st set of images starts with the cockpit. Using Eduards PE set to enhance a decent pit that would actually be OK out of the box. Most jet builds I normally pre paint most of the white wheel bays, gear and other components while on the sprues. Using Polly scale Dark Ghost Grey acrylic for the cockpit, seats and other interior details. The PE bits are not difficult to install so for, though extremely small in this scale. So patience and holding your breath is big during this phase.

That and not dropping it on the floor. They bounce to some unknown corner. Only to be found years later. "There it is!"

My dog ate a photoetch part that I had sacrificed to the carpet monster. A few days, while I was cleaning up after the dog out in the garden, I found the photoetch piece - sticking out of the dog's, uh, droppings. True story!

Today finished the pit. Painted the dashpanels MM Flat Black. Ready to install the pit in the LH fuselage half. Carefully inserting the cockpit assy into the fuselage the fit is very secure and alignment is very good up to this stage. Test fitting and making sure it is all aligned when test fitting the RH fuselage 1/2. Hoping not to knock off any of the PE bits in the process. Unless there is any stress on the PE I use Testors Canopy glue to attach the PE bits. Otherwise Cyno for areas where handling may be a factor.

I am glad that the story had that Lucky (stinky) end for your dog.
It could had been worse and ending with a Veterinary visit.

A dog's digestive must be incredibly robust. They eat crazy stuff. One of my dog's favourite food groups when she was a puppy was plastic (bad news for a modeller!) She has also injested aluminum foil, which also passed through without any effect. Now that she's older and not a puppy anymore, she is much better at just eating her dog food!

Goats will eat anything and everything as well. Thank God I have no goats

Finally uploaded most of the images for this project. A move delayed the postings of this WIP. Lost some progress images along the way. Most of the postings will show the Vigilante towards the final stages. Already painted and decalled for the most part. Really not a difficult kit, but a lot of parts compared to the Revell and Hasegawa kits in this scale.
