Thank you Markus. The gear doors fit reasonably well. Some plastic card and putty still required, but not too difficult.

The weathering of the black anti-glare and anti-skid looks really nice. Subdued and realistic. Presentation of the model base is just eye watering. The instructions don't show a gear-up option for landing gear doors. How did gear doors fit after modification of doors for gear up?

True, there is no gear up option but the doors fit well with a bit of sanding. I used plastic strips inside the wheel wells to get the doors flush and then cemented everything in place. The base was a lot of fun to design and paint, I'm glad you like it!
