Northrop T-38 Talon 'Thunderbirds' (1974-1982)

In the process of cleaning up the mess from those crappy Microscale decals which shattered as soon as I tried to slide them off the backing paper (it looked a LOT worse before I started). They are 1970/80 vintage, and obviously dried out. In the end, I bought another sheet, and coated the decals with TWO thick coats of Testors clear lacquer I had lying about. Last pic in the set shows the completed underside.

Looks like I may have to take that Talon off the shelf, fix the paint job and re-take the photos. I noticed a crack in the white paint job just below the rear seat. Probably from all the handling I had to do while fixing up the decals

Congratulations on completing this unique project. The result is very good👍. A photo of the entire Thunderbirds collection would be nice. This was really a great project! Very very nice!
