Hello everyone;

While searching for documentation on this aircraft, I found the photo above (but where did it come from?) of the Yak-38M c/n 0513 "Bort 83", which is the second pre-production aircraft of the Yak-38M.

Taken in August 1990 on the Tbilisi, during flight deck qualification tests at the end of its construction.

The Tbilisi aircraft carrier was renamed "Admiral Kuznetsov" after the fall of the Communist bloc.

This Forger A, sporting a nice camouflage scheme, is now preserved at the Air Force Museum in Vinnytsya, Ukraine.
