Well, that's probably what police cars looked like in the 1930s... Originally developed for the Czech police and also exported to Austria, some of them also ended up with the German police. Today, most people forget how insecure and brutal the interwar period was in Europe. Many new and old states, such as Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey, fought over new borders. Added to this were different ethnic groups within the countries and, of course, right-wing and left-wing political uprisings. So, four Schwarzlose machine guns were needed for self-defense...
