Richmondours usually have a lot of mud /dirt /dust /grease but this would be representative after a pressure wash 🙂

@whiteglint: I always use acrylics and oilpaints for my figures
The first step is a zenital pre shading(black, grey, white) for a better locating of the details and different shades
2 thin layers of the base color of each section, 2-3 layers of highlights are painted with acrylics
Normally i use a oil paint filter and while still the surface is wet i paint the shadows and highlights in the same way also using oil paints

Maybe I can work with a mix of both airbrush and paintbrush.

Simon Nagorsnik Автор😁😁 the chipping is mainly done by using sponge technique and the paintbrush.
3-4 different layers of color ensure a quite reaslistik look, followed by some streaking effects.
a steady hand is really necessary 😉
