Love this, a beautiful job of a beautiful kit - and it's one I took out of the attic a while back to make - you've given me some inspiration to actually get it finally built!

Thx 🙂 It's a beauty of an airplane but the kit hmmm, not bad but I had a lot of troubles with the upper wing roots and the air intakes on top of the engine nacelles. The landing lights in the leading edges of the wing also need some work but that's why I used some 18+ nose-art, to distract the viewers from all the errors I made 😉

To be honest I haven't actually started making it.. I took my view just from looking inside the box! I see from your comments that it was a bit of a pain - I'll have my putty ready when I get around to that one I think!

Nice job, Wilfried! How did I miss this one? Love the nose art!
The first kit I made with a natural metal finish (with Metalizer paints before they were purchased by Testors) was a 1:72 DC-3 with Eastern Airlines markings. I'm thinking that was an old Monogram or Revell kit. Ages ago that was...

I remember now...the DC-3 was a Testors kit, which means it was the same Italeri kit that you've built here!
