Monogram M48A2 Patton Tank
Tooled in 1957 -- or maybe even before.

An old kit, but still pretty good for a beginner or a 'weekender' for a more experienced modeler. The detail of the figures is pretty good, especially the commander and driver, but I won't bother with the others. I couldn't find any dates prior to a re-box in 1958. The A2 version began production in 1953, so the kit may have been tooled as early as 1955. For its age, it's held up pretty well.
