My first model since childhood some 20 odd years ago. Got back into the hobby over the pandemic due to some amazing YouTube rabbit holes. Starting off easy, going to start pushing techniques in the next upcoming projects. Weathering done with oil paints and dray pastel pigments and graphite

joker101_np АвторThis was my first serious model kit in about 25 years, so I took it easy with this one. Kit went together smoothly, its a really good cheap and easy kit now to get started in the hobby with! There was minimal cleanup on the parts, and everything went together well. Pin wash was done with thinned oil paints, dust effects and soot where added with chalk pastel pigment. Soft graphite stick was also used for a bit of wear and tear. Kept the weathering pretty understated as I didnt wanted to keep my first model simple.
