I started this old Dragon kit to have a bit of a leisure build after the heavy hacking and sculpting some of the older Monogram kits require and at the same time have a break from testing several kinds of metallic paint on the Monogram P-38, P-47 (×2), P-51, F-80 and Mig-15.

The Fury of Fate however, decided on an alternative, more scenic route that brings us from sinkhole to ejectorpin mark and merily meanders around frivolic scratches and there I was, filling and sanding again like there's no tomorrow.

Using Humbrol 32 as RLM66 the, all the cockpit bits are drying now
