Since you two are here i thought i should ask, should i paint it the modernized paint scheme? With the helipad and such (btw gorby ill respond to your response in a little while, im still thinking about what to say)

Id also paint it the box art scheme but i just dont have the correct colours and thought it looked.. odd.. maybe ill try to paint it the box art scheme from the sideview

When I decide what paint scheme to go for it comes down to available paints and usually I have a much stronger urge to do one of the options, or sometimes I make up a scheme if the options don't appeal to me.

I like your approach to kit building - working on the little bits and pieces when you have small chunks of free time. I love the Iowa class BBGs, and you did this one justice!

Well im glad you like my building method 🙂 i would say the boxart paint scheme is better looking but im just gonna give myself a pat on the back and say i did make it look better this way, though i still think my attempt at making water stains on the deck and lack of holes in the main armament are ugly but every build has its uglies. And every time i look at either yours or gorbys or anyone elses builds i feel like mine are just worse but its probably because they have been doing this stuff usually for as long as ive been on this very planet (aka 12 years) so i should give myself some slack. Anyways sorry for rambling, glad you enjoyed my build

Surprisingly i was also scared to build battle ships but it isnt thay hard honestly so you should try it, its a lot of fun
