- The Scottish National Scale Model Show, incorporating the Scottish National Model Championships, is an annual event usually held towards the end of April. Affectionately know by many as the "Scottish Nationals" the show is more than a model competition - for two days it plays host to model traders, model clubs and special interest groups all involved with the hobby of scale models. These people come from all over the UK and even further afield.
