Dear Scalemates Community: Would appreciate guidance on a few items as i try them for the first time: (1) creating rivets using a rivet tool: I have a trumpetere riving rolling tool, what is the best way to have some sort of a uniform line as you etch the rivets along the various panels of your model? (2) Panel Wash: I use Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color in a bottle...I have noticed that despite a GOOD coat of the Tamiya gloss clear application, once i apply the panel liner from the bottle it doesn't wipe off. I want to accent the rivets on this model (Macchi C202). I am hesitant to use paint thinner cause I fear removing the paint once done...am i using the wrong product? Appreciate any learners insight you can provide. Please keep in mind just starting out to do rivets and proper panel washes.
