The kit is all resin cast and comes very well packed in one large box. This kit is a limited edition of 10 and although not cheap, is a gorgeous replication of what is fondly referred to as the tenth character of the series. The pieces are very well scaled and intricately detailed. If not stored and handled well some minor pipe or cabling is easily damaged. It may even be wise during construction to replace some of this with more flexible options. The kit cen displayed in fighter or on the ground. The main parts come in white resin with the shuttles and landing gear in grey. For the more adventurous amongst us the possibility of lighting existsbut has not not been catered to, this will be a delicate operation in some areas. Attention to detail is excellent, as was shown with a reprint of the decals early on. I have included some photos of the parts prior to any work starting on my wall as a project to be started.
