A sugestion for the Timeline.
As you can see, Hasegawa has released THREE basic different tools (in 72nd) along the years. The first (F-4J) was not released again since the late-70's; but the second (F-4E) is still marketed along the latest tool. The same happens with the F-14 and F-15. This causes a bad mix in the Timeline, making difficult to see the correct path for each kit's genealogy.
Same happens with other companies/kits; as the Heller's Mirage F1, or Fujimi's Phantoms.
Worst of all is Revell, who has tools from no less than EIGHT different companies under its label (ie. Mi-8 from KP and Zvezda).
So, I think it will be more clear if a new, separated line, would be created when selecting 'Initial release - new tool'
Cheers

Alternatively, you may use different colors for childs of the same parent kit.
However, the feature is totally useful 'as is', any further improvement would just be 'icing on the cake' 🙂
