Aghis BarberopoulosI build this kit in the mid eighties (I think it was the same kit anyway). I remember trying to paint it by brush... 🙁 You can tell it was the influence of the film "Nimitz" with Kirk Douglas.

Holger KranichThat Film and "Top Gun" made me a fan of the F-14 Tomcat! Its my absolute favorite aircraft!

Then again the Tornado moves them also, while twisting the weapons pylons...that is even more 'dynamic' in a sense. But to be honest, this aircraft is not for dogfights despite the films...On the other hand it is an impressive beast, in my school days I used to sketch F-14 in all my books. Then I went to NY to study aeronautics...What did I tell you ? I am crazy 🙂
