I was given this kit by a friend, he picked it from a thrift store but it has no canopy. so im hesitant to even start! not to mention I need all new declas

I build this kit in the mid eighties (I think it was the same kit anyway). I remember trying to paint it by brush... 🙁 You can tell it was the influence of the film "Nimitz" with Kirk Douglas.

It is certainly dynamical! Moving those big wings around. Then again the Tornado moves them also, while twisting the weapons pylons...that is even more 'dynamic' in a sense. But to be honest, this aircraft is not for dogfights despite the films...On the other hand it is an impressive beast, in my school days I used to sketch F-14 in all my books. Then I went to NY to study aeronautics...What did I tell you ? I am crazy 🙂
