Following this 🙋🏽‍♂️ about the primer: does the black primer do any difference to how the aluminium looks, compared to grey or white primer?

Thanks guys! I'm no expert, but from what I understand - black is best for metallic. Also, the glossiness of the black paint will help determine how glossy and shiny the metallic paint will eventually look. If you want a really reflective shiny metal look, then you want to use gloss black paint underneath. In this case, I was happy with a dull metallic finish.

I'm currently working on the seats - I have them primed, I just haven't had much time for scale modelling lately!

Its a good kit, but watch out for the sharp corners of the upper fairing! All you have to do is look at them the wrong way and they break off. Really difficult to get them to stay on after being glued.
