This body is a different casting than the ones in Mini Racing's A 442 and A 442B kits. The rear deck is longer and lower at the tail, the air extraction vents are properly moved and enlarged. The engine cover portion has also been reconfigured. The cockpit surround is properly changed to reflect the lack of the windscreen so prominent on the A-422B. The front wheel arches show changes to the louvers and access panels as well as to the headlight buckets. Even the chassis plate has been altered to fit the new body.
