Nice finish at all! This building demonstrates that great results can be achieved in 1/200 scale.

Thank you so much for your encouraging comments. I'm pleasantly surprised that someone noticed this gallery from 2016 after all these years. Thank you.

Well, you liked my work.....so I came and had a nose about. To get an overall finish that nice is some skill. I'm not too good at using shiny paints. I don't want to blame my tools, but a larger spray gun would probably help. I do use an Iwata, but it's more for fine work.
Besides, I've flown with Ansett a few times in the 70s, but didn't know they used 747s?

Nice work! And stunning pictures - love them 😊 (especially thinking of they have been taken 8 years ago .... )

So nice. 🙂
Q: How long is this 747 kit in 1:200 scale? In 1:144 scale the A380 is rather large I know, like the 747 I am guessing.

Gentlemen, thank you for your kind comments.
@Andy - Yes, Ansett used both Boeing 747-300 and 747-400.
@Treehugger - 747 in 1/200 is about 350 mm long and the wing span is 298 mm
