Bughunter... you built a TIMEMACHINE?!?😉
Fantastic piece of work. Your detailing and solutions are a source of endless inspiration. Can't wait for what's next 👍

So the flying Praliné of Flanders makes it across the line 👍
Beautiful representation of the black-actually-brown finish of the aircraft - I guess this must have been an actually effective camouflage over the muddy shot-up landscapes of the no-mans-land...
Again we get the usual "the longer you look, the more you discover" (in the most positive sense😉 ) kind of experience - engine & propeller, rigging, all kinds of mechanical details all checked 👍 And the wheels were IMHO also the right choice, plasticity, tires & all.

Thank you mates 👍
@Jens - not demotivating, I want to see a WNW from your bench!
@Alec - I put a shelf queen out of the 'On hold' state, next update done already😉
@Slavo I'm not sure about camouflage with all the colorful machines and markings. They found this black cool, which allows a 'Black Flight' with Tripes 'Black Death', 'Black Sheep', 'Black Prince', 'Black Roger' and this 'Black Maria'. Other flights used blue or red markings.

Fantastic, if my Tripe from WNW turns out half as good as yours I'll be more than happy...

Thx mates! Urban, the Tripe from WNW is great kit and has more detail as I can scratch and show here. Have fun building it!

Thanks mate, I'm sure that I will have fun with it but not quite yet. So many projects so little time...
20 August 2020, 18:32

Fantastic photos, the illusion is so perfect that the Tripe looks like a real Tripe!

Really great pics, you caught just the right light & atmo for this 👍 Pic 15 with the propeller "at attention" looks cool & pic 16 absolutely looks like from a movie!

Perfect, as always, nothing more to say. I am Just lookking and lerning.

Wow, thank you mates for your great feedback! Daniel, I inserted b/w versions after the color pic, for easier comparison. So they get a new number😉

It is an older model, but it had only small pictures made on balcony, so I had this model with me during the last outdoor photo session.
Just added new pictures of the new big standard size to the album.

Stunning outdoor photography as usual, my friend!! A gorgeous build too. It's a beauty.

Nice mate with new photos as this little gem deserves good photos!

Thank you for your nice words mates!
@Jennifer you are right! Nothing looks like wood like real wood 🙂 Because they were made of mahogany and there was no shortage of it in Great Britain, the individual layers here are made of the same wood.
@David Many, or more precise 9 Sopwith types are already in my cabinet. There are not much types left, where a kit in 1:48 is available. But at least Snipe, Baby and 1 1/2 Strutter are waiting in my stash.
12 December 2024, 19:47

Possibly the 1 1/2 strutter must have been the Mosquito of WW1.Bomber,fighter,night fighter and two seat fighter.
