The set provides some very filigree parts - a good fine resin saw is recommended!

All plus some more are mounted, even some PE parts as the detail set brings its own PE sheet.

Such nice details like the battery, here painted and a leather handle strip was added (PE part).

The cockpit got more parts, a paint (I used AK Real Color RC967 RAF Cockpit Grey-Green) and some more parts applied.

Because it is so nice here from the other side. Some detail painting with brush and a oil wash.

The front seat with stick, belts and the frame to close the cockpit behind the back seat.
The panels at the back was a rubber plate, so I painted it with a AK Marker "Rubber Black".

On the back of the front seat there are more details: a switch panel and a map case with leather case.

The kit provides two new resin panels and 20 decals! Additionally two decals from the kit are needed.
I used Kristal Klear to create glass over the instruments.

That is the reason why I like those panels more over the kit panels and the Eduard PE set: The compasses are really round and not a half piece.
That is damn small but the look is cool.

The fuselage is also modified: I cut out the doors to show the nice cockpit details better. The it was painted and the first parts added.

I had to modify some PE parts in the left half, because those were accidentally mirrored in the CMK set.

Cockpit frame are glued into left half, so now I could add the remaining seat belts.
I need to add some wires but the cockpit is nearly finished.

Dry fit: the fuselage can be closed without problems. A lot of details are still visible from outside.
Before I can finally close the fuselage the engine needs some attention.

After I got this kit as present - Thank you Kenneth - I found also some accessories. Luckily the kit was some years old so I found the sets cheaper. The start was triggered recently while I was cleaning my bench and working room. All the additional CMK boxes were to big to fit them into the Airfix box so I cut some of the bigger resin parts from the mold. But once they are cut I found myself mounting them.
Yeah, my first Airfix kit and my first CMK cockpit set 👍

The CMK set is really great so I have not used much from the kit yet and in opposite to other projects no scratch work is needed 🙂

That'll be another great result 👍 You will be adding the rods that connect the throttles, the tailplane trim (on the left fuselage half), the slat controls (on the right fuselage half), the rudder bars, and to their respective destinations (engine, tailplane, slats)?
