Painting the fuselage partly before assembly to make handling easier. The tail is Vallejo Azul which is a reasonable match for the real aircraft in the livery when I owned it.

This is modelled on a 1967 Piper PA28 Cherokee 140 that I used to own and flew about 400 hours in. It is a Bandai 1:48 kit
