I don't think I've ever seen a WIP of this kit. I'll be following with interest!

I have this kit in my stash too. Started a loooong time ago, in my teens. I cut the decal sheet for use on who knows what... Are you going to do it in the US scheme?

I am in. I spent a few hours helping work on the CG-4a at the Silent Wings Museum when it was still in Terrel Tx

Hi all, Tx for the reply's, never thought this kit would attract that much interest.
I am going to build this kit in my "Normandy '44" project i.e. building vehicles and aircraft as they can be seen on period photographs.
In case of this Waco glider, I'll be building the "white 47 - Jughead" that landed near St.-Mère-Eglise on the night of 5-6 June 1944. Pictures of this aircraft can be found in the book "D-Day Gliders", Heimdal Editions, p. 94. This glider apparently transported a jeep or other stuff but no troops as can be seen on the picture. It came down almost undamaged as well and will so be presented on a piece of grassland.
