Great first build (for a tank) Jermaine! 👍 When you say the kit was a PIG, that is not like when "bad" can mean "good" right? Old kit with questionable fit? You made it look good in the end. 🙂

To me the general appearance of a model is far more important than the last bit in details and historical correctness. In this sense that's a fantastic work, congrats!👍

Thanks a lot mates, the nice comments you get make it all worth the effort. I also want to thank Hunter Cummins and Coen C for the great tips that helped me thru the build.

Looks good to me. I'm still struggling with my first tank. I have no idea how to paint the darn thing! LOL.

@Clifford when in danger when in doubt, load up your airbrush with olive drab!
@Jermaine nice paintjob of a monotone scheme, surely doesn't look bland. 👍

Good job Jermaine! It's modellin' after all in the end n' not assembling...

It is supposed to be camouflaged, but I can't quite figure out which colors to use. I have thought about painting it sand as it is a M1A2, which I think were used in Desert Storm. I'm not to knowelagble about armor.

Make it pink with lime green dots and claim that it's camouflaged for a Pride festival...

Jermaine, what you can do with your build is to fill up the visors on the MG cupola with thinned gloss blue-black paint. It's easyer to control the paint flow with thin paint with the help of the capilary effect.

Thanks guys! The oil washes I used really made this paint finish come to life.
