Breguet 1050 Alizé - Azur

The result is simply fantastic! If the kit is "well below the actual standard", your model is well above the actual standard 👍

An airplane, which was neglected by the manufacturers for many years and was built here beautifully.

despite all it is still a nice aircraft. You don't see these often, so that's a nice extra. congratz with the result.. I would be glad with such a result...

Looks great. Really want a 1:48 of this and a Fairey Gannet myself.

Despite the challenges, it sure turned out well. I really like your color modulation, it adds great dept 👍

Hi guys,
This is my Breguet Alizé 1050, from AZUR (1/72). Well....it's not an easy kit, for sure...
The fittings are "average", but I' have to say that I' was mostly disappointed by some design issue. For example, the landing gear is very weak and it's very difficult to have all the wheels on the same plan/ground.
The notice recommend a 8g weight on the nose.....however, even with more than 15g that i' glued in my kit, the nose still stand up, and I' had to use the arresting hook, to artificially keep the airplane horizontal.
The painting guide is very poor (some stencils references are missing) and doesn't even match with the box-art (who seems more accurate in fact).
Honestly, I' would expect Azur to have make some progress.... unfortunately their kit remain well below the actual standard.
On the every hand, the chance to have such a kit produce by Tamigawa, is almost 0...
Anyway..
Hope you like it...
Thanks for looking
