JDGreat project Doug! I hate it when a setback slows you down, but keep at it, I want to see this one finished! Maybe a dunk in a strip bath for the flying sub, rather then sanding?

JDThere's a few methods but I find the easiest and least toxic way is to use a strong automotive degreaser like Purple Power, Simple green, etc. soak parts in this and anywhere between a few minutes to overnight depending on the type of paint, then a little encouragement with a toothbrush should do the trick.
