I remember a simpler time when I could just glue things with really gooey glue, and paint it all with Humbrol paint jars, and slap the decals on without having to worry about silvering. 😄 And the smell ofc.

Still use tinlets and hairy things on sticks. Not as good as you air blowers but nhey.

The older tins are better for brushes as the new tins are more formulated for airbrushing.

Most of mine are older than I even remember 😄, but I've also a few new ones. I use both with brush and airbrush.

They are still a favourite of mine, I do all my figure and detail painting with them and a hairy stick!

Album info
The very first step in my return to model making was to find whatever had been left from my teenage years...
I discovered a real treasury - good old Humbol enamels, I must have bought in late 80ties of the last century.
Needless to say that it was enough to stir and they were ready to use.... And that smell......🙂
