Rod -A lot of the cheaper Aoshima and fujimi kits have those motorised chassis. I got a surprise when I built my first Aoshima to. I made the most of it and converted my model to radio control ?

bmod AuteurMy first Aoshima was the Autozam AZ-1 which was SO detailed, and so much fun to build (even though the hood doesn't open on that one either). So I specifically bought this one thinking it would be a really detailed Beetle. 🙁 Oh well. Part of me wanted to cut the front and back open on this one, and scratch-build the trunk and motor. I even left the top and bottom snapped together, not glued, in case I ever decide to go back and do it. Maybe someday, but for now I'm just happy with a shiny yellow exterior. 🙂

Bought this because I thought Aoshima kits were top-notch. But it turned out to be repurposed from an RC toy and not quite as detailed as I'd hoped. 🙁 The outer body shell is nice, though, so I'mma make the most of it.
