Made some progress...a tricky one (for me)
(my first RFM model kit and some parts are not really amusing to use)

Well I have to agree that the parts are not much fun and are unnecessarily complicated

Thanks Karel, it's reassuring to hear, that other model makers see the same issues.
In fact, the model kit is not bad, but all the eject markers, some pieces very difficult to work on makes it more an average than a very good kit.

478 pieces for the chains are now assembled...😅
The hull assembly is finally coming to an end.
I bought a Decal set from "Star Decal" as want to make a KFOR version of this tank
with a diorama scene "Somewhere in Kosovo - British Sector".

Great, I'm already looking forward to the finale to get inspired.

Hope, my work is good enough, to inspire 🙂
I made the pre-shading this evening.

The Model is nearly finished now. I start to work on the Diorama "In the Neighborhood of Pristina", which certainly take a while.

Yes, David, you are right. The model from RFM was not an easy one and some parts were made of etched brass part, which didn't gave a real advantage compared to plastic.
Don't misunderstand, the kit was not bad, much options and a good level of detail. But in my humble option, the molding quality was not excellent and some parts had to big mold injection branches.

478 parts for the caterpillars ? What a pain that must have been.
The result is very good.

Very good diorama with lots of interesting details to detect .......... everything just fine!

Thanks, Neuling!
Yes, Olivier, the caterpillar was the real "funny" part of the model.
I make mostly Tamiya kits, were the caterpillars are much easier to make (recently made the M-18 Hellcat) and the final result nearly looks the same in my opinion.
