Yeah they defiantly require some work but you can get a pretty good looking model from some of them.
I'm very impressed with how well you did the instrument panel, are those decals or did you drybrush it?

Thank you. It's drybrushed with Vallejo white. Used an old, stiff Floquil brush I had from my teenage years.

I'll probably try a drop of gloss in each instrument dial.

Yes some gloss varnish on the dials would really make it pop 👍

The painting effect of the instrument panel is excellent, comparable to that of etched sheets.

Thanks Robin. I'm surprised what this old kit can do with just paint and some very basic skills. And honestly the result is more satisfying than buying the same result with aftermarket.
