I bought this model years ago as one of several I bought to honor my father who was a pilot in the Air Force. I never got around to building it. He passes away at the age of 92 in January of this year. As I was putting this together I realized it didn't have the decals I needed based on the one photo I have of him with his aircraft.

This one was tough for me. I got to a point on the decal on July 4th (his birthday). I couldn't get any further. Last night I added a few more but chose to call it. I just didn't have enough information on his markings and it's hard to place those tiny decals with tears in your eyes.

My plan is, in the future, find a better model and redo this. If anyone has a suggestion for a good OV-10 1:48 kit, I'm open...

I built this in conjunction with the O-2A Skymaster.
