BMP-2 War in Donbass

Long hiatus after the KV-1 I started another AVF. This one will show a BMP-2 of Ukraine Ground Forces from 128th Mountain Brigade during the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. It will be based on Trumpeter's very good kit with some aftermarket parts.

Few words about the kit. Trumpeter's offering is a much needed improvement over almost 30 years old Dragon/Zvezda kit. A lot of parts, crisp detail, good modern quality + a small PE for the exhaust meshes and some minor bits and pieces. Most disappointing are the rubber vinyl tracks. They are ugly and useless and had to be replaced with resin aftermarket parts. The kit also benefits from a metal barrel as the plastic lacks detail.
