Hermes 450 UPV FAM

The Fuerza Aérea Mexicana (Mexican Air Force) acquired a number of Elbit Systems Hermes 450 unmanned air vehicles circa 2009. They have been employed to monitor gas and oil lines throughout the country and to support intelligence ops against drug cartels. Up to 2017, at least three different and consecutive ID numbers (5001 to 5003) have been shown in airframes at military parades and news, thus suggesting that only three examples were purchased.
