Hi, my name is Kevin and I am 58 years old. I live at home in Avonmouth, Bristol with my wife Helen and my youngest daughter Kelly (21), my eldest daughter Laura (23) lives with her boyfriend Arron. We share our home with our dog Sophie and 3 cats Branston, Zara and Polo.

I left school in 1974 and started an apprenticeship with British Aerospace in aerospace guided weapons electronics. I moved to the civil aircraft division in 1988 working on narrow body Airbus projects electrics. I had to retire in 2001 for health reasons.
I have been modelling since the age of 6 my first kit being the Airfix Spitfire IX. I remember it was more solid glue than plastic kit. I model mainly aircraft in 1/48 scale my interest at the moment being captured aircraft although I am at the moment building a 1/35 Sherman Firefly used by the German army in 1945. I've lost count of the number of Concordes I have built for work friends and family members,
but having said that I have never built one for myself.
I also enjoy airshows, aviation museums and photography. I started taking pictues of aircraft related subjects in 1975 and have built up a collection of around 6,500 35mm slides plus a further 2000 plus on computer drives, I am alate convert to the digital age.
