1. Cockpit:
Sanded down the molded setbelts from the set. Next I'm going to rescribe the details. I wanted to tryout the hairspray method. So I painted the cockpit with vallejo aluminium. After the hairspray I applied interior green. Unfortunately the paint cracked. So I had to aplly several layers so the paint layer became quite thick. Added additional details to the cockpit with wire, decals and seatbelts from HGW. I should have detailed the cockpit before I painted it.
2. Fuselage:
Haven't decided yet if I will rescribe the panel lines since they are raised.
3. Painting:
Painting was a bit dull again. I certainly have to improve my airbush skills. A lot of noses which required a lot of sanding.
4. Summary:
This kit as serious issues with fitting and stability with the gear. The end result is not nice but ok.
