Yes @Martin. What a shame. Its the only C130 in town in this scale and a hell of a kit. It is what it is, i guess

Thanks @Gerald. Yes @Lukasz had to make a weathered look as the gunship grey was very boring if left as a "clean build."

Looks really nice I think.
I am by such Hercules kits, put off by what I think is such kits being overly expensive, even the ones in 1:144 scale. I wonder why this is (or so it appears to me).

Q: How long and wide is this model in 1:72 scale? 🙂 Maybe this model is larger than I had thought.

@Treehugger. The kit's dimension when completed is wingspan 58cm. Fuselage 31cm, total height 16cm.

Album info
An ESCI kit but later reboxed under Italeri. It builds into an AC-130A (not an -H model). This project really wore me out. totally exhausted. I had to work on so many aspects of the kit, particularly the engine extensions, which was extremely troublesome. I used Mr. Color FS36118 gunship grey for the base. for the weathering, I used thin overlays of different shades of greys from Mr. Color and Tamiya acrylics. I did the weathering using a combination of AMMO Mig pigments, filters, Tamiya panel line accent, and AK weathering pencils. I used EZ Line for the areal antenna. I used ArtoolFX and Uschi airbrush templates to help with randomizing the weathered look
