I mostly build 1:72 scale models of aircraft from the post-WW2 era and up to today. I specialize in Swedish and Hungarian Air Force aircraft - I am Swedish and my wife is from Hungary, so it is kind of homage to our home countries. But I also like US Navy aircraft in the pre-90's high vis, bright and colorful paintwork.

I am quite a slow builder - mainly because I don't have a lot of time to spend on building, but also because model building for me is kind of a meditative, zen-like experience that brings peace to my mind. I usually work on multiple kits at once, but a model can easily take several months between unboxing and finish and be resting for weeks or months between steps if I get a bit tired with it.

I almost never build straight out of the box, but add photo-etched or resin parts and third party decals and usually also do some custom scratch building.
