The Australian Model Expo is currently the biggest Model Show in Australia. Held over 3 days, it is truly a unique event on the Australian Modelling scene. At the show you will see a showcase of everything that encompasses plastic modelling.

A major part of the event is the Open plastic model competition that has over 60 categories and covers nearly all types of models, Aircraft, AFVs, Cars, Trucks, Science Fiction, Figures and almost anything else that you can imagine as the range and variation of kits increases. The competition regularly attracts over 500 models as entries. This is a great opportunity to enter a model so that it can be seen by your peers and interested public who attend the show.

At Model Expo 2018, you can expect to see a number of Model retailers and associated traders who will have latest releases, aftermarket goodies and an array of other tools and accessories of interest to Modellers. The show is also a platform for model clubs and special interest groups from over Australia along with a variety hobby displays.

As usual there's not much happening down under. But if anyone gets the chance to visit this event it's worth a look. I'll see ya there! Lining up in the 300+ queue of guys waiting for the swap n smell to open!
