RV Gélis 著者Hi, I put a primer black then a clear wood, vernish and I paint thin line with dark brown enamel . Hope my answer could help you. 😉

Danny RayWhen you varnish your models do you varnish the whole model? Do you varnish before adding decals and weathering? Do you varnish it all once you've finished all painting and weathering?
I can't decide what to do when it comes to varnish. Some say it's a must and others say they don't do it at all. Pretty confusing.

RV Gélis 著者Hi danny, afterpainting, I put somme varnish (half X22 + diluant), then i put decals and again a slide of varnish before weathering.

Danny RaySorry to be a pain. So it's varnish (gloss?) before decals, varnish after decals then you weather? But you don't add a final Matt varnish after weathering? I think I've seen that some people do but I always thought that might ruin the weathering effects? Is that why you don't do a final varnish like some might?
