You can change the details of the event by clicking on its link and then use the "Edit Event" button. There you can also change the dates. Maybe you should also write down some of the "rules and restrictions" in the "Intro" part of the details.

@Tim: Indeed the start and end date of the event are displayed incorrectly in the news feed.

Yes, the date doesn't show correctly. Event Logo, if you by that mean the thumbnail it's been fixed by one of the mates. Gonna write down the guidelines in the intro.
