Have you thought about using spray cans. Such as automotive aerosols, to paint him. Have a look on youtube, i remember a few months ago watching a gentlemen use spray cans to paint his gundom with some amazing results.

Was thinking about spray cans but am worried that it would go wrong (frosting, etc) due to high humidity. It rarely goes below 70% here. Feels like I'd have more control with an airbrush.

Very understandable, where I live the humidity is very low. Just have worry about staying warm in winter.
