The Tracks for the gear are now weathered.See from Pic 5. on.On the first pics. it was only the base coat.

The differance is obvious! How much time was needed to assemble the friul(?) tracks?

It went very fast.I made me a jig to mount them together.Almost like this...

The most work is the cleaning from flash and to drill the holes.
Only to assemble (without the cleaning work) it took circa 2 hours (maybe 2 and a half).

Now its doing fine.

This is perhaps the most realistic chassis I have ever seen! Great work - And the Friul tracks are expensive but are as close to the real thing as you can get. Well done Markus. I expect you to win many contests with this!!!

Thats all for today.I did some chipping on the roadwheels and finished the clamps on the spare tracks!!
Thanks for all you great comments.
Its slowly comming to an end.Only the sideskirts ,more roadwheels,chipping on the sideskirts,chipping the barrel,turret rainmarks and streaks,final weathering with pigments.
Not a lot to do !!!I will begin with the Ontos at november 🙂
