Chris W 著者I tell you one thing - this bird is BIG! It dwarfs the beaufighter I have in the cabinet. An interesting fact if you intend to build this model - the 'grates' of the cockpit floor are almost exactly sized to accept a 0.5 mechanical pencil! No wash needed - just draw in the grates and flat coat!

Chris W 著者I punched out the instruments for the panel - I really prefer that to an IP decal. I also attempted to simulate wood grain on the tables using the oil paint technique. I wish I started with a lighter base colour but it still looks like dark stained wood to me!

Chris W 著者Aghis - that build is awesome! A little more ambitious than I am doing for sure. I love AC interiors but I hate it when I close them up and can no longer see anything. I'm still debating having the canopy window open or not.

Chris W 著者Weird that the flat IJN green came out gloss but hey - we can work with that. I started panel fading with a grey-white mix and then overspray with the basecoat. I need a couple of touchups before going on with the brown.

Chris W 著者I think everyone has hung a model from the ceiling at one time or another. Most of the time it meets a sad end. My LHS has a ton of models strung up - I wonder how dusty they get?
