Building the Airfix 1:48 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in a small dio

The Hurricane was less glamorous and modern than the Spitfire, but formed the backbone of Fighter Command. 

This kit is very neat and well-designed, and offers quite some interior detail. 

Some PE helped, but not a lot of it. 

The gun bay interiors are quite nice out of the box. 

After some preshading, undersides in Sky type S. 

Masked and sprayed the camo. 

Added the decals. 

The completed model. 

 

 

Set into a dio with the RAF ground Crew set and the Albion 3-point fueler. 

The figures come in very handy poses. 

And the vehicle adds interest.
