This is a great little lit, Duncan. You will enjoy it! And thanks for choosing the camo version - every one I've seen has been the high speed silver scheme! Good time for something different! 🙂

That's why I've choosen it. The question is if I should build the Copper Race Spitfire or a normal one.
By the way: have you ever heard of the Cooper Air Race in 1948?

I found a picture of the real "number 4" I think it's pretty clear now that I will build the racing Spitfire.

Best of luck with the build - this is a really nice little kit and I´m looking forward to the completed model!

Almost done. My PC Problem has one positive thing: NO more distractions from other things so I can focus on my kits.

Well done Duncan! I like this scheme, just a little different....

How fast do you build?😉
Very strange with the number 4 on the wing.

The number 4 ist for the identification furing the cooper air race.
This Spitfire took part in an Air race in 1946.

there's a number four on this Spit?....completely missed it! Too subtle for me 😉

I don't know Eend. But it was very fast.
Wim, I've uploaded a picture of the original Spit in this album too.

Nice work, Cookie! I don't know if you've noticed it, but you're turning into an excellent modeller! 🙂 🙂

Nah, it's not that good.
There is a lot of silvering on the wing stencils and you can see trough the cannopy frames. But besides that I'm pretty pleased.
