The 'oil' stage just didn't work - I ended up with a big mess. I haven't had much luck putting oil washes on aircraft either. I find it messy and it ruins a nice build for me. Then again, I have seen some amazing weathering and panel lines done in oil... so go figure.

If you get the time tell how you did the wash, beginning to end. Perhaps your missing an important step. I along with others would be more than willing to help with this.

Looking nice so far, but your picture is so large the molding-lines in the brackets (?) next to the drivers hatches look like something you should look at...

But how did i build? I've got the same kit here too, but then the Italeri version ( which uses the same moulds ).

I'll post some pictures of the wash - it seemed as though the oil paint disintegrated in the thinner instead of being thinned. It turned 'grainy'
