A beautiful job on an airplane that is sadly no longer with us! 🙂 for your model, but 🙁 for the crash.

What a beautiful and well done bare metal surface! Great build Albi, congratulations!

Thank you mates for your words of praise. Its really motivating.
This was a real long term project, I don't know why but there was a time I thought: OK! F**K IT! Its for the bin! No more bare metal planes ... Then I somebody shows me the hint with the Tamiya Smoke color and voila! It works well.... Thank you!

Brilliant result! May i ask, with regards the smoke, when you say freehand do you mean with standard brush or air brush? I'm surrently doing alot of bare metal finishes and keen to master the technique myself but only use spray cans and brushes.

Wonderful finish Albi. I love the versatile Tamiya smoke, very useful product.

X-19 is the key to replicate such a amazing surface?
Its really delightful to watch the result! Superb!!!

How do you make these real things look like they're little??? 😉 👍👍👍

Thank you mates for the many words of praise about the "Doll".
@Adam: No, with freehand I meant without any cover or protection. Just with the airbrush, layer by layer.
@Martyn: Very useful thats true. In my opinion its a bit underestimated. To be honest, I never used it before, but now .... I think its a simple way to represent a bare metal surface.
@Holger: Indeed! Spray-can Aluminium and then the X-19 (little by little!!! and its a question of dilution but not such a big thing) and you will get this finish.
@George: It must be the same way you did with the tanks 😉 ....👍
